Who We Are

Founded in 1985 in Kansas City by Butch Moppin, Rainbow Roofing has been a trusted name in quality roofing for nearly four decades. His story began after a major storm swept through the Kansas City, Kansas area. Butch landed his first big jobs repairing storm damage on none other than Rainbow Boulevard—where the name Rainbow Roofing was born. What started as a local response to a community in need quickly grew into a lifelong family business rooted in craftsmanship, integrity, and service.

Butch, a proud father of 5 and grandfather of 10, poured his heart into the company while raising his family. When he’s not working, you’ll find him fishing, traveling, or at the racetrack with his beloved race cars.

Today, the next generation is carrying on the legacy. His daughter, Tiffany, is expanding the business into Texas while bringing her own energy and vision to the brand. Tiffany is a Nurse Practitioner who delivers babies and also practices aesthetic medicine. When she’s not working or growing the roofing business, she’s traveling, coaching her daughter’s softball team, or relaxing in her favorite robe.
